I recently saw a version of avocado toast on an actual restaurant menu. It had burrata cheese, jalapeno oil, cilantro, and was basically guacamole on toast. Not that I’m complaining, it was amazing! Give me guac on toast any day. But I realized that avo toast has permeated culture fully now and I couldn’t be happier. So it’s time for avocado toast recipes part deux. You can see part one here, with six variations.
Three more ways to rock the avocado toast:
1. Avocado toast with dried cherries, basil, almonds, salt
2. “Everything bagel” avocado toast with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
3. Avocado toast with Kumato tomatoes, chives, olive oil, smoked sea salt, and pepper
Are you ready for these?! So gooood. Let’s look at them separately…
Get yourself some nice, ripe avocado like this. It’s never that easy to get avos at just the right level of ripe, but when it’s pretty brown is a good indicator. Just slightly tender, not too hard. I got lucky with this beauty. But you’ll find me using less pretty avocados ALL the time. 😉
Then find yourself some nice crusty bread, multigrain bread… anything you really like.
Avocado toast with dried cherries, basil, almonds, salt: I sliced the avocado on this one since it’s all about the bites and I wanted to change things up.
“Everything bagel” avocado toast with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper: I’d recently made some “everything bagel” hummus and had all of these ingredients on-hand. You could totally opt to use real caramelized onions, too. Nom.
Avocado toast with Kumato tomatoes, chives, olive oil, smoked sea salt, and pepper: Again, I totally reused some Kumato tomatoes and chives from this tomato tart recipe. Waste not, want not, amirite?
Totally go see the original six avo toast recipes since there’s so much more to see. I swear I could put anything on here since avo is so neutral and buttery.
Bonus on these three avocado toast recipes is that they’re all vegan. Feel free to carnivore them up, but they’re great as-is.

Hi Catherine! Thank you for these wonderful recipes, I actually love them all. I’m a big fan of avocado. But I never tried it with dried cherries, I will definitely try it! 🙂
